- Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Community Oral Health
Description
The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Department of Preventative and Restorative Sciences, Division of Community Oral Health, invites qualified individuals to serve as a full-time faculty member in the Academic Clinician Track at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level. The position calls for a person who, through excellence in clinical care and teaching in Community and Public Health, is expected to build and maintain the Division's reputation locally and nationally. The qualified individual is expected to ensure that all Penn Dental Medicine clinical protocols and policies are applied and maintained at Community Oral Health sites. The successful candidate will participate in clinical education and patient care activities in Penn Dental Medicine’s community-based clinical program.
Requirements
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess a DDS or DMD degree and must be eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania dental license. Preference will be given to candidates with current or previous community health practice experience, formal advanced training in Community or Public Health, and/or previous teaching experience.
The position reports to Division Chief Community Oral Health/Associate Chair of Dept. of Preventive and Restorative Sciences.
