- Assistant or Associate Professor, Colon & Rectal Surgery
Description
The University of Maryland School of Medicine seeks candidates to join the full-time faculty of the Division of General Surgery, Section of Colorectal Surgery, at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Candidates should be board-certified in Colorectal Surgery or currently in training in an accredited Colorectal Surgery fellowship program. Responsibilities will include establishing a broad Colorectal Surgery practice at the University of Maryland Medical Center with a focus on complex inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer, conducting independent clinical or laboratory research, and educating medical students, surgery residents, and fellows. Candidates should have a clear plan for clinical practice building, academic development, and scholarly activity that is consistent with the mission of the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
