Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare and teach CS/CIS/ENGR courses up to 12 units per semester
- Participate in mentoring and academic advising of undergraduate students
- Participate in department and university affairs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair
- Integrate Christian faith in all aspects of instruction.
Requirements
Qualifications
- An earned Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
- A commitment to teaching excellence in undergraduate programs
- Desire to be available on campus to mentor undergraduate students in their course work and research
- A commitment to teaching excellence in an undergraduate, liberal arts program.
- A demonstrated, vibrant Christian faith compatible with the mission of Azusa Pacific University (Faculty members are required to sign a “Statement of Faith,” available at http://www.apu.edu/about/believe and to adhere to the policies outlined in the Faculty Handbook.)
