Job DescriptionOverview
The Department of Computer Sciences at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in Computer Science/Computer Engineering and Computer Gaming. This fast-growing department at AUM offers a bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Computer Science, and a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems & Cybersecurity.
Current All-But-Dissertation Ph.D. students are strongly encouraged to apply. Non-Tenure-Track candidates should have an outstanding potential for excellence in teaching, commitment to service at both the departmental and university levels, and effective oral and written communication skills; Tenure track candidates should have a strong record or outstanding potential for significant research to secure external funding.

- Transcripts: undergraduate and graduate (unofficial acceptable)
- Research statement (only for Tenure-Track applicants)

Qualifications
Candidates must have received a terminal degree or equivalent prior to the start date. Candidates with expertise in following fields are especially encouraged to apply: object/character modeling, animation & simulation (Unreal Engine, Blender, etc.), augmented & virtual reality, interactive video game design & development, embedded systems development (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry PI, etc.), cyber-physical systems, IoT, mobile & cloud computing, human-robot interaction, full-stack web application development (React.js, Node.js, etc.), and computer science/engineering education.
