Assistant Professor of Art, beginning Fall 2026

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Art in the Division of Communication and the Arts, beginning Fall 2026. This is an appointment-stream position.
Requirements: MFA or Ph.D. in Art or a closely related field, with a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Scholarship/creative activities, advising, and service activities are required. Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level is required.
Responsibilities: Applicants must be able to teach 12 credits per semester in art at the undergraduate level. Preferred courses include the foundations (Painting, Drawing, etc.), and digital courses (Digital Graphic Design and Digital Photography), as well as New Genres. This position is an integral element of our Interdisciplinary Arts major, working with other arts faculty to support IA student progress. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience.
