- Assistant Professor of Business and Management
Description
Teaches graduate and undergraduate courses and conducts research in the business and management disciplines. Develops and designs curriculum to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and encourage student engagement. Course offerings may be taught during the day, evening, or online, as well as taught using distance learning formats. Provides academic advising and assesses student outcomes. Provides intellectual leadership, conducts research, and makes contributions to the literature in the field of business.
Qualifications: A PhD or DBA in a qualifying academic major, including Business, Management, Strategic Management, Business Administration, or Leadership. Post-secondary teaching experience and research accomplishment are required. ABD Candidates are encouraged to apply and will be considered. Candidates with additional non-academic business experience are preferred. Interacting with students, faculty and leadership with different backgrounds and points of view and a deep appreciation of and respect for academic values and culture must be a top value of the candidate.
