Position Summary
Lincoln Memorial University – College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry. This position is based at the LMU-Tower and LMU Community Care Clinics and reports to the Dean for Clinical Affairs. The successful candidate will supervise dental students in the Centers for Excellence (CE), ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting clinical education and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor dental students in a clinical setting
Oversee patient care delivery within the Centers for Excellence
Support student skill development in general dentistry
Promote safe, ethical, and efficient clinical practices
Collaborate with faculty and clinical staff to support educational outcomes

Required Qualifications

D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree
Strong knowledge of dental practice operations
High level of skill in general dentistry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable, motivated, and personable professional demeanor
Experience in private dental practice

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a dental teaching or academic clinical environment
