The Department of Medicine Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Miami Health System and University of Miami Leonard Miller School of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor in the clinical educator track. Summary of job responsibilities:
Direct outpatient and inpatient care to adult patients with endocrine diseases.
Precepting trainees in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Participate in medical student, resident and fellow education.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
MD/DO Degree
ACGME US Internal Medicine Internship and Residency
Completed ACGME US Endocrinology Fellowship
Valid board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology (or board eligible)
Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing), valid DEA Licensure.
Current ACLS and BLS certification required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements
Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care
