Description
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences seeks a qualified candidate to teach as full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor of Psychology starting January 2026. This position is a 9-month residential appointment and campus presence is required. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Areas of special teaching interests may include (but are not limited to): developmental, applied (behavioral/industrial-organizational), health, environmental, forensic/legal, neuroscience, social/cultural, and/or counseling/clinical psychology.

Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
Ph.D. in Psychology required. (ABD considered if Ph.D. is in hand by start date.)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Academic advising and mentoring of students
Possess a strong generalist academic background and commitment to teaching excellence
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to collaboration and working as a part of a team to visualize, plan, deliver, assess, and redirect programs as needed
Research program development that can support the mentorship of undergraduate students in research endeavors
Experience teaching in online and/or hybrid settings
