Description
Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor
level in the Frost School of Business beginning August 2026. Ideally, applicants will have a terminal
degree in Sport Management from an AACSB accredited institution, demonstrated strength or a
commitment to excellence in teaching, work experience in the profession, and a willingness to mentor
undergraduate students in research. Also preferred, the terminal degree will be earned in a program with
a traditional, campus-based doctoral program. ABDs within one year of degree completion will be
considered. We seek candidates whose research, teaching, and service have prepared them to
contribute to our commitment to the engagement and inclusion of culturally diverse audiences in higher
education, particularly in the sport management discipline.
Successful candidates will teach introductory and upper-level sport management undergraduate courses.

campus office hours each week. Should a candidate move forward in the process, additional job
responsibilities will be provided. Qualified candidates are committed to excellent teaching, student

Centenary community. Centenary values interdisciplinary teaching and encourages faculty to contribute
to and connect course offerings and scholarship.
