The Department of Computer Science at Texas Tech University invites applications for multiple tenure-track or tenured positions at all ranks starting in Fall 2026.
The Department of Computer Science has 100 PhD students, 218 Master students, and 885 undergraduate students including 474 major students and 411 foundational students as of Fall 2025. The department currently has 29 faculty members including 21 tenured or tenure-track faculty members and 8 teaching faculty members. For more information, please visit http://www.cs.ttu.edu/. Requirements

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or closely related fields by the time of appointment, must have track records of research excellence, ability to obtain external research funding, and potential or record of leadership in research and education. Outstanding research in areas of robotics, or artificial intelligence, or quantum computing is expected. Associate/Full Professor candidates must have proven record in building research teams at the university or national level, playing a leading role in obtaining significant external research funding, and having internationally impactful publications.
