Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Professor of Microbiology at its DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM), located at the Orange Park, Florida campus.
This faculty position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality microbiology education within an integrated medical curriculum while advancing the scholarly mission of the University, College, and Department.
Position Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for teaching microbiology to osteopathic medical students
Participation in scholarly activity, including research and publication, consistent with rank
Contribution to the academic mission of DCOM through curriculum development, assessment, and service
Engagement in departmental and institutional initiatives that support student success and academic excellence
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, or a closely related discipline
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant postdoctoral training
Demonstrated evidence of scholarly research
Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
