The DMI Program at SUNY Downstate is a CAAHEP accredited sonography program, that has a legacy of over 50 years of success in ultrasound education. We are currently recruiting for a full time clinical assistant professor to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities: The Clinical Assistant Professor will
- serve as a full-time faculty member providing classroom and lab instruction in assigned courses as part of the CAAHEP curriculum,
- provide assessment of student earning and skills, provide academic advisement
- participate in clinical site supervision, contribute to student recruitment, and college service
- maintain ARDMS credentials and clinical experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited US College/University, and must have graduated from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Clinical experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literacy, and strong organizational skills.
Preferred certifications: RDCS, RDMS, RVT, Master's degree, and academic experience.
