Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

1. PhD degree or other research degree at time of appointment.

2. Masters degree in Nursing or Public Health.

3. CV­ potential for/actual research and scholarship and teaching effectiveness.

4. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.

5. Proficiency in writing skills.

6. Eligible for RN or APRN licensure in Rhode Island.

7. Ability to work with diverse groups/populations.

PREFERRED:

Postdoctoral training in an area related to program of research germane to nursing.

Experience in classroom and/or clinical teaching.

Evidence of successful research collaborations.

Ability to write competitive applications for extramural funding.
