Description
Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology & Criminology, open specialization. This is a standard nine-month faculty appointment with a competitive startup package. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the Public Policy Ph.D. and Data Science / Analytics B.A. programs.
Requirements
At minimum, the person hired must have: (1) a Ph.D. in Sociology, Criminology, or related social science discipline, (2) an active research agenda and evidence of scholarly productivity, (3) evidence of the ability to contribute to one or more departmental strengths in the research areas of criminology, community, social inequality and/or stratification, and health, and (4) evidence of contributing to a scholarly environment for all through teaching, mentoring, research, outreach, and/or service commensurate with rank.
