Position Description
St. Mary’s College of Maryland is accepting applications for the one-year* position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science, beginning August 2026. This position is in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. The salary range is $75,000 - $82,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
*The position term is for one year but may be extended subject to budgetary approval.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field.
- The successful candidate must have the necessary documentation to work legally in the U.S. upon hire.
- Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.

Requirements
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field and be prepared to teach across the undergraduate curriculum. Candidates from underrepresented groups (including women) are especially encouraged to apply.
