The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a non-tenured Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine who is board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine. The Physician will provide patient care at our OSF Little Company of Mary contracted site in the Emergency Medicine department.
This position is a nocturnist role, offering a schedule primarily consisting of overnight shifts.
The successful candidate will be offered protected time, a competitive compensation package, matching funding for existing research support, and a generous incentive plan. The department is addressing health disparity challenges common to large, urban settings through innovations in emergency care that improve inter-disciplinary health system function as well as community health.

The budgeted salary for the position is $ $272,126 and will be eligible for a night shift differential. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
