Lincoln Memorial University’s DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) invites applications for an Assistant/Associate/Professor of Anatomy at the University’s main campus in Harrogate, Tennessee.
This faculty position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the education and development of future healthcare professionals through teaching, mentorship, and scholarly engagement within a mission-driven osteopathic medical institution.
Position Overview
The faculty member will have primary responsibility for teaching within the Master of Anatomical Sciences program, Medical Gross Anatomy curriculum, and the PhD in Anatomy program. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the University through excellence in teaching, student mentorship, scholarly activity, and service.
Faculty will play a key role in supporting an integrated medical curriculum while helping prepare students for careers in medicine, research, and health sciences education.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Anatomy or closely related anatomical sciences discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching medical gross anatomy, particularly within medical, graduate, or professional health programs
- Experience with cadaver-based instruction and/or clinically integrated anatomy education preferred
- Evidence of effective teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, or scholarly activity is desirable
Appointment & Opportunities
- Academic rank (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
